How do you work with a demagogue manager?

A demagogue leader appeals to feelings, beliefs and prejudices and avoids facts and reason. Working with someone who is a demagogue requires a bit more preparation specially when you report directly to one. Not a good thing. So, how do you survive working with a demagogue manager?
