Generation Z will be the second largest segment of the workforce right after millennials. What is concerning is that this group is showing higher rates of depression, anxiety and suicide among young people so what do we do – if anything – to prepare to work with them?
Arrogance is not something new. In a team, it can create havoc if it goes unchecked. This is easier said than done specially when the manager is the culprit or he/she enables someone to act in this manner. So how do you manage arrogance at work?
Regardless of where you work, there are times when hypocrisy shows up whether in dealing with co-workers, customers or managers. If hypocrisy has negatives connotations, how do you manage it to offset its potential adverse impact on employee engagement and productivity?
Some may argue that a business can run without having trust in the workplace as employees are paid to do a job. So, if this is the case one would need to ask what the overall business results would be if trust was high among employees as well as what is the cost to the business of having low trust.
