How do you cope with job loss?

The unemployment rate this week in the U.S. is slightly above 13%, which is a number we have not seen this high since the early 1940s. The stress of losing a job is right close to events such as the passing of a loved one or a divorce. Some emotional reactions include “why me” or “this is not fair” to “I don’t deserve this.” So, how do you cope with the emotional turmoil of being unemployed and staying positive during this challenging time?
